Our Vision

Our vision is to create a pathway for a more positive and impactful world for future generations.

Leylah here!

My family and I started this foundation because we believe access to character-building and life-changing opportunities through education and sports should never be limited.

My family has made great sacrifices to help me achieve my dreams. Built off generations of hardship, my family has allowed me and my sisters to be where we are today. This foundation is an extension of who we are as a family, and I want to help create opportunities for other children and individuals with the same passion and motivation. I can’t wait for what the future holds and all the work we’re going to accomplish together.

Leylah Annie Fernandez is a tennis player by training, vibrant by nature, and an advocate by choice. She was born on September 6th, 2002, in Montreal, Canada. Family is at her core, and that's why she wanted to create this foundation.

Leylah started her junior career, advancing to the 2019 Australian Open girls’ finals match and winning the 2019 Roland Garros girls’ single event, reaching #1 in the world at age 16. At just 18 years old, Leylah won her first WTA Title at the Monterrey  Open and, in the following year, became a back-to-back champion, winning the title again in 2022. At just 19 years old, she reached the top 12 tennis players in the world. Leylah made her run at the 2021 US Open reaching the finals and reaching quarterfinals at the 2022 French Open.
